We’re not shy of scouring the crowd funding pages for innovations, and recently we became aware of another MTB oriented data analysis gadget.
You may recall we reviewed the ShredMate offering last year and we were impressed with the metrics although the app still very much felt like a work in progress. Well if data is your thing (and it is ours!), TrailSense are promising to bring even more to the table along with some areas we highlighted as missing from ShredMate.
The list of data features include: –
- Tracking airtime on jumps
- Measuring cornering speed
- Trail difficulty
- Ability to compete with friends and benchmark yourself against pro riders
- Define your own segments
- Line choice rating
An impressive list and one we’re intrigued to see how pans out – line choice rating? Just how accurately does it track you? GPS in the woods is not the best and it can’t see the terrain? Fingers crossed we get a review unit to see for ourselves soon.
TrailSense are currently seeking funding on KickStarter at the address below, with units, including a lifetime subscription from around £110. The app is currently iOS only, with Android expected at a later date.
