Iv’e heard a fair few things about this place.
“just a big pump track”
“the stuff in the woods is mint”
etc etc etc.
So I decided to get up there and check the place out myself – tl;dr I would say the place is awesome.
Really well built flowy trails that make the most out of the lack of gradient the place has, big table tops, progressive gaps and drops make this place a fantastic riding sport for those wanting to progress their riding.
I spent about an hour and half there and completed a couple of laps of the red run in the woods, had a mess about on the pump track and sessioned one of the best table tops I have ever seen for working on jump height/distance/technique.
Huge kudos to Bike Track for building an epic trail and to the staff at Leeds Urban Bike Park who have got an awesome set up. A perfect place to go now the weather is grim and natural stuff is starting to wear over the winter.
