If you live near Stocksbridge, the chances are you ride Wharncliffe and Greno a lot. With trails so good it’s so easy to get some top descending done in a couple of hours. As my Dialled colleague (and occasional friend) Kieran tells me, you ride there too much…
Well Kieran, this time I took the enduro rig and the GoPro out for a ride around my local natural loop and it did not disappoint.
Langsett reservoir is the end/start of one of the best descents in the peaks, Cutgate. And at the minute it is running so well. The reservoir is a mix of fast flowy rocky sections and peaty loamy mud. Roots and rocks – natural galore.
This is a ride I’ve been piecing together for a while, and one I have being looking forward to doing. The route is a great fitness loop and can also be done from the car park, I chat about this in the video – you could quite easily lap this and have fun.
Anyway, hope you enjoy the route. Catch me in Wharncliffe.
